Announcement 2025-072 Client Portal Update (Underwriting for Delegated Clients)

Newrez LLC “Newrez” Approved Correspondent Clients; Newrez has updated its Client Portal to allow Delegated Clients to request Newrez to underwrite Smart, Jumbo and Closed End Seconds. Refer to our Fee Schedule for a listing of Non-Delegated Underwriting fees.

We’ve enhanced our Client Portal to allow clients to choose Newrez as the underwriting option when uploading a credit file. Please see the updated process below:

• Credit File Upload Instructions:
• Navigate to Image Central Upload Images page and search for the loan.
• Once the loan is selected, the Upload Images page will appear.
• Choose Credit File as the document type.
• Select Yes or No to indicate whether Newrez should underwrite the file:
• If No is selected, the system will display a pop-up message redirecting the client to Clayton’s site for upload.
• If Yes is selected, the client may proceed with uploading the file for Newrez to underwrite.
