Medical Professional Program

Newrez LLC "Newrez" Approved Correspondent Clients, please be advised that updates have been made to the Newrez Medical Professional Program. These changes are effective for all new locks on or after September 10, 2026.

Expanded Eligible Professionals
Nurse Practitioners (NPs) holding either a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) are now recognized as eligible medical professionals under this program.

Asset Eligibility Update
529 College Savings Plans have been officially classified as ineligible assets for this program and can no longer be used toward asset requirements.
