Co-op Eligibility Updates

Newrez LLC “Newrez” Approved Correspondent Clients, effective with new locks on and after October 15, 2026, Newrez has expanded co-op eligibility for select Conventional products. Existing eligible locations remain unchanged, and the additional eligible states and counties are listed below.

Conforming, HomeReady and Home Possible 

• Expanded co-op eligibility to the locations listed below:
  • District of Columbia - All of DC
  • New Jersey - Middlesex and Union Counties
  • Maryland - Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties

RefiNow

• Updated the product summaries to identify additional eligible co-op locations:
  • District of Columbia - All of DC
  • New Jersey - Middlesex and Union Counties
  • Maryland - Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties
  • Pennsylvania - Philadelphia County-Client must be approved

Refi Possible

• Removed the co-op restricted-area limitations for Delegated and Non-Delegated Clients
• Clarified eligible New York Boroughs and New Jersey counties
• Added the locations listed below:
  • District of Columbia - All of DC
  • New Jersey - Middlesex and Union Counties
  • Maryland - Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties
  • Illinois – Cook County
  • Pennsylvania - Philadelphia County-Client must be approved
