UAD 3.6 Announcement

Newrez LLC "Newrez" Approved Correspondent Clients, please note that Newrez will continue to accept GSE loans with appraisals in either the 3.6 or the 2.6 format. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have provided Newrez with a temporary policy exception to the UAD 3.6 mandate to allow more time for implementation. Newrez will continue to accept legacy UAD 2.6 format until February 28, 2027. Newrez will not accept loans with UAD 2.6 appraisals from the Reduced Functionality Period ( March 1, 2027 – May 19, 2027).

VA, USDA, and CES have not announced acceptance of UAD 3.6 appraisal reports.

Updates will be provided when additional agencies adopt the UAD 3.6 format.
